What are the defects?

The portable cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2195: 1999 ‘Folding Cots —Safety requirements’. Specifically clause 10.2, which does not permit accessible gaps that allow a 95mm probe to pass through. Furthermore, the portable cot does not meet the labelling requirements set out in clause 13.2.

What are the hazards?

Potential head entrapment and strangulation hazard.
