Recall: Newborn Support

Stokke AS has issued a recall in Australia of approximately 2200 a Real Cool World® and Stokke® Flexi Bath™ Newborn Supports.

The warning labels affixed to the products are not permanently attached as required by Australian regulation The Mandatory Bath Aid Standard (Regulation 2005).

The hazard associated with the affected products is that the consumer may not read the warning label and there is a risk that the child might be left unattended in the bath aid.

The recall affects:

a Real Cool World® Flexi Bath™ Newborn Supports sold April 2012 – June 2013

Stokke® Flexi Bath™ Newborn Supports sold February 2013 – June 2013

If you have an affected product, please register in the form below to receive a free service kit including a new permanent warning label.
New permanent warning labels are being prepared and expected available from Mid October.
Until the new permanent warning label is received, you may still use the product as long as you have read the warning label (see above). Stokke reminds you never to leave the child unattended while using the Flexi Bath™ products. 

This is a precautionary recall and no accidents, injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with any of the Flexi Bath™ products. This recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our customers as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and product quality at all times.

The Flexi Bath™ Newborn Support is distributed globally. However, the version distributed in Australia is a specific Australian version due to compliance with national standards in Australia. The AUS-version of Newborn Support is limited to Australia.
