What are the defects?

The cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard, AS/NZS 2172:2003 Cots for household use—safety requirements. The distance between adjacent filler bars and filler panels is less than 50mm on the left and right hand sides.

What are the hazards?

Due to the non-compliance with the mandatory standard, there is a potential for limb entrapment to occur.
