The cots feature stationery side rails and two mattress heights.

The cots are crafted of iron and have the following dimensions:
• dimensions: 76cmw x 140cml x 112cmh
• fixed side rails: 99cmh

The cots fit a mattress 70cmw x 132cml x 15cmh.

What are the defects?

The product does not comply with the mandatory Australian Standard AS/NZS 2172:2003 Cots for household use—safety requirements.

There are two defects identified with the product:
1. Space between the vertical bars is between 40.8mm and 49.9, less than the 50mm requirement.
2. Space between the horizontal bars is greater than the 95mm requirement.

What are the hazards?

The defects may lead to a limb and/or head entrapment hazard.
