Recall - SABELT S.P.A. Child Restraint Buckle - Europe and UK



Recall - SABELT S.P.A., A LEADING COMPANY IN THE FIELD OF CAR SAFETY, HAS REPORTED THAT A PARTICULAR BUCKLE MODEL USED FOR CAR CHILD TRANSPORT SYSTEMS, MAY PRESENT A POTENTIAL DEFECT THAT MIGHT REDUCE ITS RESTRAINT CAPACITY RESULTING IN A SAFETY HAZARD IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.

The buckle type in question is shown in the photos below, in light grey and black.

Several manufacturers of children's car safety systems have used this buckle on some of their models, sold individually or as part of modular systems (pushchair / car seat / car carrycot).
Although to date we have not received any accident reports and the possibility of the buckle malfunctioning is extremely low, the manufacturers listed, as a precaution and with the aim of protecting the safety of children first, invite the owners of the reported models of each brand to immediately view the important safety information, published on the individual companies' websites mentioned below to see if their product is affected and to get all the information for it safe use.
